October 1st was International Coffee Day and to celebrate, all the Penny Petroleum Costa Express stores took part in a 24-hour FREE Costa giveaway!

As part of a bigger national promotion by Costa, the day was designed to inspire customers to ‘try’ Costa Express Coffee and, as you can see, our stores were extremely busy. In some instances, the queues were out of the door, with people keen to sample the quality of Costa Express machine coffee free of charge.

The campaign, promoted in national press and on radio as well as social media, was based on a 300-store trial that ran in June this year and the promotion included a loyalty incentive to keep people visiting the machines. Costa Express really put their money where their coffee is and the 43 Penny Petroleum stores that took part in the promotion had a thoroughly enjoyable day welcoming new and old customers alike and encouraging them to pick up their FREE Costa Coffee!
