Over the years, we have been expanding further across England and Scotland, and we’re pleased to announce we have bought two more forecourts based in Lancashire. We have now acquired Walverden Service Station in Nelson and Woodland BP Service Station in Thornton-Cleveleys.

Both sites are trading under the BP banner, offering fuel and a range of convenience items. The sites also benefit from an on-site hand car wash and a free-to-use ATM, while Woodland Service Station also includes an MOT garage and tyre-fitters.

Conveniently based on busy main roads, we’re excited to see how these two sites grow and develop over time alongside our several other sites, which are always developing too.

In 2019 we had some really fantastic news within Penny Petroleum. Forecourt Trader placed us in their Top 50 Indies list; we switched eight of our stores in Scotland to become Spar; we celebrated our 25th anniversary, and so much more! We can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us. Stay tuned!
